Launch day put Studs.gg at number 8 on OpenRouter
On the launch day of our latest version, Studs.gg ranked 8th globally in token usage on OpenRouter. Here is what that number means, and what it does not.
Studs.gg ranked number 8 globally in token usage on OpenRouter on the launch day of our latest version, as reported by Shifter in April 2026. It is a snapshot of one day, and the rankings move daily.
OpenRouter is a service that routes requests to many AI models, and it publishes public rankings of apps by token usage. Tokens are the units of text a model reads and writes, so token usage is a rough measure of how much building is happening.
That version was a rebuild. We announced it the night before it went live, on 16 March 2026:
What number 8 means
The ranking compares token usage across every app on OpenRouter. It says nothing about how good a game is or whether it was published, and we do not read it that way.
Our public app page lists Studs.gg as “AI for building Roblox games”, active since March 2026. It appears in the Game, Cloud Agents, Entertainment and Coding Agents categories.
Why a game builder sits beside coding agents
A Roblox game is code, UI and a 3D world. With Studs.gg all three are generated from a description, so an AI game builder for Roblox does much the same work as a coding agent, for people who never see the code.
The creator starts with plain words. We build the game in the browser and publish it to Roblox in one click, with no coding and no downloads. More than 100,000 creators use Studs.gg.
To make a Roblox game with AI, start at Studs.gg: describe, build, publish.
