What BloxBot is, and why it is free and open source
BloxBot is a free, open-source desktop app that connects any AI model to Roblox Studio. Here is who it is for, and how it differs from Studs.gg.
BloxBot is our free, open-source desktop app that connects any AI model to Roblox Studio, on Windows and macOS. We made it free because we think connecting AI models to Roblox Studio should be accessible, open and trivial.
Our CEO announced it on X on 10 February 2026:
We build both BloxBot and Studs.gg at Paralov, and they serve different starting points. Studs.gg is for people who want no install. BloxBot is for developers who already work in Roblox Studio and want to bring their own AI model.
Choose where you want to work
With Studs.gg, you describe your Roblox game in plain words and AI builds it in your browser. You publish to Roblox in one click, with no coding and no downloads.
BloxBot starts in Roblox Studio instead. It connects the model you choose to the environment where you already work, so your project, your tools and your habits stay where they are.
Why it is free and open source
Some tools charge per token or sell a subscription for exactly this connection. We do not think it should cost anything.
Oscar put it less politely a week after the launch:
So BloxBot costs nothing, and you bring your own model. The source is on GitHub for anyone to read, change and build on.
Download it from bloxbot.ai.
Make a Roblox game by describing it.
